The Imperative Podcast: Strategic Diversity Initiatives
LISTEN NOW:
Two decades ago, diversity programs became standard in most HR offices. Like many other HR initiatives, diversity programs included new communication and training efforts, new policies, and posters...lots of posters. Despite these efforts, many diversity programs have amounted to little more than corporate kumbaya and a lot of eye rolling by employees and managers alike.
In our latest podcast, diversity consultant and trainer Margaret Crawley says most corporate diversity efforts fail because they have the wrong focus.
Margaret Crawley is a diversity consultant and trainer who previously served as the Executive Director of the Texas Diversity Council. Margaret will be a participant in the Fort Worth Human Resources Management Association's Diversity Day program on Thursday, September 18th. You can register for that event on the Events Calendar at FWHRMA.org.
